Established since 1997, Scrabster Port Services Ltd has played a pivotal role in developing Scrabster as a hub for offshore exploration and production support west of Shetland, on the Atlantic frontier and in the waters surrounding the Faroe Islands.

As the closest mainland port to these new offshore developments, both operators and offshore contractors have benefited from substantial savings in vessel utilisation and cost when using Scrabster as a forward supply base.

The port has also undergone major investment in deepwater facilities with further developments planned for the future that will ensure Scrabster retains its leading status.

In addition to serving the energy industries, Scrabster Port Services also acts for owners and operators of cruise ships, cargo tonnage and research vessels.
